Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
Grenco Medical is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We recognise that many of the people who use this site are patients and carers who may have a disability or health condition, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities. This target also supports our obligations under the Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
Accessibility features of this site
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and landmarks.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images, and empty alt attributes for decorative images.
- Labels associated with all form fields.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and interactive controls.
- A responsive layout that works across phones, tablets, and desktops, and supports text resizing and zoom.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are minimised when your device requests reduced motion.
- Colour combinations chosen to support readable contrast.
The device and accessibility
The Elite II itself includes features intended to support ease of use, including a magnetic mouthpiece designed to be easier to handle for people with reduced dexterity. For full device guidance, see the Getting Started guide and the Instructions for Use.
Known limitations
We are continually improving accessibility. Some areas we are aware of and working on include:
- Embedded third-party video players may not fully meet our accessibility target; we provide written guidance alongside videos where possible.
- Some PDF documents (such as the Instructions for Use) may not be fully accessible to all assistive technologies. If you need information from a PDF in another format, please contact us.
